Google release their next android version 5.0. For this version google was named as a Lollipop.
All of you know about Lollipop, its children’s favorite chocolate.
In this Android Lollipop will be called as a Android L, This will be launched with the release of Nexus 6 Smartphone’s.
The Android L will be optimized for all devices support Android OS, for example Android Phones, Android TV , Android Wear and Android Autos.

In older versions of android google updates some of its applications like Gmail, Chrome, Play Store etc, within material design. But in Android Lollipop have all its applications in material design.

In this Android Lollipop have a new recent application menu which shows an enhanced view of recently used applications.

New Notifications
This Android Lollipop comes with a new notification bar and has some new ways to control your notification panel. You easily control when and how you receive notifications.
User can easily view and respond to messages without unlock the screen.
You are playing a game or watching a movie that time a incoming call will come means a new notification will show accept or reject the call. If you accept the call means the game and movie will pause automatically.
Battery Improvements
Low battery life is very low in android phones you have. But in Android Lollipop, Google has made some changes to improve battery life of Android Phone. The new Battery saver function extends battery use by upto 90 minutes.
