Now a day’s most of people are facing the shortcut virus problem. Actually what happen to your original files and folder is nothing will be happen. Because shortcut virus are hidden the original folders and files, which is present in Pen drive, Flash drive, Memory Cards or hard disk.
Those Shortcuts are in .inf Extension. In this Virus are removed by all Antiviruses, but now I tell about how to remove shortcut virus by command prompt (cmd).
Each and every computer has the command prompt, so not worry about any antivirus required to recover our virus affected shortcut files and folders.
In this Recovery Method is very simple and Easy.. Just do following steps to remove Shortcut virus from any type removable disks…
1. Click START >> RUN >> In that Run window Type cmd and hit Enter or Press OK.
Tip : Shortcut Key to Open Run , Press Win+R .
2. Then Go to My Computer and Find out the your pen drive/memory card Drive Letter, For Example F:
3. Next Type Following command in Command Prompt Window,
attrib –h –r –s /s /d f:\*.*
Then Hit Enter
4. Wait Sometime to Command Execute, That’s it!
5. Now Open your pen drive you can see your original Folders and Files.
